What is KwikTag?
KwikTag is a process for capturing paper documents that incorporates a unique, patented process which eliminates the inefficiencies of other scanning applications. Users can enter documents into the system at first receipt in the organisation and then set them aside and scan them later in one stack. KwikTag can be used as a standalone repository, replacing physical filing cabinets, and/or it can be incorporated directly into your other applications. Typical applications that are integrated include Billing & Accounting (CMS.Net, Elite), Document Management solutions (Autonomy iManage / Interwoven, Hummingbird / Docs Open, Open Text eDM), Microsoft Dynamics Accounting solutions (Great Plains, Navision and Axapta) and more.

KwikTag can scan an unlimited number of documents per day because of our tiered server technology. Typically, departments scan hundreds of documents per day, but many of our KwikTag customers scan several thousand pages per day, with some maintaining repositories of millions of documents. KwikTag was architected to be scalable and can easily accommodate a single department or the enterprise.

Which copiers/scanners can I use?
KwikTag can use virtually any digital copier, scanner, fax machine or multifunction device (MFP), so long as they are connected to your network.

What about security?
The good news is that KwikTag has multiple levels of security, unlike paper files. You can control access to documents both inside and outside a department. Documents in the repository are tracked by a database, giving you an audit trail and detailed logging of actions and access to documents.
