HotDocs Professional
HotDocs Professional Edition is the HotDocs developer toolkit, and offers the most powerful suite of document automation tools available.

HotDocs Professional includes advanced automation tools, which allow you to:

• Automate graphical forms
• Automate word processor documents
• Provide end-users with intuitive assembly interviews
• Add help resources to interviews, or link interviews to information resources on intranet or internet sites.
• Publish templates to end-users, either on a network or on an intranet or internet site

HotDocs Server
HotDocs Server allows you to publish your automated documents on the Internet, or your Corporate Intranet. No desktop software is required by the user.

The key benefits of adopting HotDocs Server for publishing interactive automated documents:

• Uses standard HotDocs templates. Existing HotDocs word processor templates can be quickly published online.
• Online interviews reproduce all the dynamic features of standard HotDocs templates. For example, data validation, pop-up help texts, calendar controls, greying of invalid options etc.
• No web programming is required when using the standard version of HotDocs Server. HotDocs automatically generates all the HTML and JavaScript required to display the interactive online interviews.
• Interviews can be fully customised to the look and feel of any web site. Many different interview styles can be used on the same server.
• True browser based product, no plug ins or downloads.

HotDocs PDF Advantage
HotDocs PDF Advantage brings the power of the Portable Document Format (PDF) to HotDocs. This handy add-on allows PDF forms to be filled in quickly and easily and saved as PDF files, and also allows documents, assembled with HotDocs, to be saved as PDF files. Not only that, almost any document can be converted to PDF using HotDocs PDF Advantage, whether or not it was created using HotDocs.

HotDocs PDF Advantage includes advanced features to aid the form filling process - including the ability to choose answers from pick lists or pop-up tables and the ability to gracefully manage answers that may otherwise be too long for the form. Once saved, PDF files can be emailed, eFiled, or stored for future reference. No additional software is required.

HotDocs PDF Advantage is available as an add-on for HotDocs Player, HotDocs User and HotDocs Professional.

HotDocs Player (Desktop)
HotDocs Player is the HotDocs desktop end user product which allows the user to assemble any template or fill any form published using HotDocs Professional. HotDocs Player does not allow end-users to create or modify HotDocs templates. HotDocs Player is also the software used by HotDocs Publishers to publish HotDocs content to their customers.

Using HotDocs Player, interactive interviews guide end users through logically sequenced questions to gather all of the information required to complete sophisticated customised documents and forms. HotDocs then automatically:

• Computes values
• Avoid repetitive typing.
• Determines what text to include or exclude based on end user answers
• Embed guidance and questions within the interview.
• Changes format and presentation
• Creates your completeted form or document

HotDocs Interconnect
The HotDocs InterConnect product family integrates HotDocs document assembly and template creation processes with your organisation's existing document management system (DMS).

Each product provides a way for your organisation to maximize its investment in both HotDocs and Autonomy iManage WorkSite software by facilitating flow of information from one application to the other. In a nutshell, HotDocs InterConnect allows you to save your HotDocs templates in the Autonomy iManage WorkSite DMS, and then assemble documents from those templates via Autonomy iManage DeskSite, FileSite, or a HotDocs library.

Assembled documents can then be saved and profiled, along with their corresponding answer files, in the DMS.
