DocMinder allows you to manage your people, documents and tasks via your existing e-mail system.

DocMinder users can easily set up a standalone task or reminder or attach a task or reminder to a document.  They simply right mouse click on the document, identify the elements within the document that they would like their staff, client, and/or vendor to action or be alerted about in the future and then confirm who is to be notified; what they are to be notified about, and when the notification should occur.

DocMinder Creating the TicklerTo receive notifications a user needs only an e-mail address and an understanding of email.  There is no license fee for users that only receive notifications.  They can forward or reply back to the individual managing the process as to the status of the task.

On the correct day the document is emailed to the correct person for action. Prior notification e-mails and past due warnings with escalation can be sent, as required. The upcoming reminder can appear in your Outlook calendar and a special filtered DocMinder calendar that can act as an easy to use dash board for management of all tasks.

Your DocMinder calendar can default to your uncompleted work or with proper security you can filter on other departments, users, etc. The same information can appear in your Outlook Calendar. Uncompleted Reminders Reports can be sorted by date range, individual, dept, client, matter, custom fields, etc. By double clicking on the calendar task the full details about the task appear and the document can be retrieved.

Task responsibilities can effortlessly be transferred, permanently or temporarily, e.g. if someone is sick or on holiday, or in the event that someone leaves the company all of their outstanding tasks can be quickly and simply reassigned to another member of staff.
