Ascertus was founded in June 2000.  For the first 8 years Ascertus Limited was uniquely focused on providing high quality software solutions and professional services to corporate in-house legal departments.  We have been quietly working with a number of in-house legal departments to assist them with their adoption of technology. 

Ascertus understands that in-house legal departments have different requirements and have to work under different constraints to their law firm peers.  Ascertus has the skills, experience, and no shortage of patience, to assist the legal department through the implementation and ongoing use of their new systems.

To our knowledge there is no other company in Europe which provides this exclusive attention to the in-house legal market.  Ascertus has been responsible for the successful implementation of systems within the legal functions of companies such as Barclays Bank, Euroclear Bank, Carillion, Alliance & Leicester, Associated British Foods, Babcock International, Bradford & Bingley, Smith & Nephew, and Nissan-Europe.

More recently we have expanded our operations to provide the same first class service to law firms, accounting practices, financial and insurance companies.  We will be looking to consolidate our position within these markets whilst maintaining our friendly, personal, and high quality of delivery.
